Part No.: 104-50-40Series: 104-QS Semi-Micro Absorption CuvetteHellma 104-50-40 is German-manufactured semi-micro absorption cell made from Suprasil® QS high-purity fused quartz glass, supplied with original PTFE sealing lid. Featuring a 50 mm ultra-long optical path, this semi-micro cell requires less sample volume compared with standard macro 100-QS cells, while delivering enhanced measurement sensitivity for low-concentration samples in UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometry.

Two precision-polished optical windows ensure excellent surface flatness, parallelism and low stray light for stable, repeatable absorbance data. Adopts glue-free thermal fusion bonding technology, eliminating adhesive leaching and contamination risks. Standard 12.5 mm outer width fits Shimadzu, Hitachi, Thermo, Agilent, PerkinElmer and most mainstream laboratory spectrophotometers. The matched PTFE lid prevents sample evaporation and oxidation, ideal for long-duration kinetic monitoring and trace substance quantitative analysis.
