Product Description

The Cole-Parmer® Stuart™ SI-200 incubators have specifically been designed for adequately mixing small volumes of liquids in a temperature-controlled environment. The high-speed shaking action at 250 and 1250rpm, with a tight orbit of 1.5mm, is ideal for microtitre plates and microtubes. The units feature a microprocessor controller and an LED control panel that allow independent control of speed and temperature, as well as a timer that can be set for any duration from 1 second to 9 days. Careful control of the air distribution within the incubator ensures temperature uniformity, between +7ºC to +60ºC, throughout the sample chamber. A retractable platform facilitates easier access to samples at the back of the incubator. During operation it remains securely locked in place. The non-slip mat ensures up to four microtitre plates can comfortably and securely be accommodated at the same time; tube racks for all common tube can sizes are also available for the units. Strategically placed stainless steel water trays ensures up to 80% humidity, preventing sample evaporation and damage over extended periods of incubation. The built-in USB connection allows the units to be connected to a PC for long term temperature monitoring.

Forced‑air heating provides precise temperature control ranging from Ambient+5 °C up to 60 °C across the whole chamber.

The unique retractable drawer‑style platform simplifies plate loading and unloading and securely locks during shaking. Built‑in stainless‑steel water reservoir maintains chamber humidity up to 80 % to prevent sample evaporation. Comprehensive timer function runs from 1 second up to 9 days; upon completion, audible alarm triggers and shaking stops while incubation temperature remains active. Integrated USB port supports PC‑connected long‑term temperature data logging. IQ/OQ validation documentation is available as optional accessory for GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical laboratories.
