The Cole‑Parmer BH‑200‑2 (EW‑36610‑01, former SBH130) is an economical analogue‑controlled two‑position dry block heater operating at 230 VAC, 50 Hz, designed for stable dry‑heating of lab samples in test tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, cuvettes and microtitre plates.

It accepts two single‑width interchangeable aluminum heating blocks or one double‑width flexi‑block. Heating blocks are sold separately to match various vessel formats. Large‑thermal‑mass aluminum blocks deliver outstanding temperature stability and uniformity across samples. Built‑in BioCote® antimicrobial treatment reduces surface microbial contamination for improved lab hygiene.

Simple analogue dial knob provides intuitive temperature adjustment from Ambient+8 °C up to maximum 130 °C. Flashing hot‑warning lamp activates when block temperature exceeds 50 °C and keeps flashing even after power‑off for operator safety. Compact benchtop footprint conserves laboratory workspace.
