Part No.: 108-002B-10-40Model Series: 108.002B-QS Micro Absorption CuvetteHellma 108-002B-10-40 is German-manufactured micro absorption cell made of Suprasil® QS high-purity fused quartz glass. Featuring black coated side walls and base (self-masking design), it efficiently blocks stray light and eliminates scattered light interference to improve signal-to-noise ratio for low-concentration sample absorbance measurement.The inner width is only 2 mm with minimum sample volume of 500 μL, ideal for limited precious samples. Dual precision-polished optical windows guarantee excellent parallelism and highly repeatable photometric data. Adopts glue-free thermal fusion bonding without adhesive leaching risk. Standard outer dimension fits all mainstream bench-top spectrophotometers. Equipped with original PTFE sealing lid to prevent sample evaporation and oxidation for long-term kinetic testing.

Take our cuvette windows, for example, which boast outstanding quality and a flatness tolerance of more than 0.001 mm (1 μm). The parallelism of both window surfaces relative to one another is just as important. Our high-precision production guarantees that the frontal deformation of the wave of a cuvette window is less than 4 lambda, which works out at approximately 0.001 mm (1 μm) if lambda = 546 nm. The high level of flatness demonstrates that the cuvettes from Hellma Analytics are setting standards. Overall, an ideal foundation for conducting reliable, reproducible and exact measurements.
