Part No.: 100-100-40Series: 100-QS Macro Absorption CuvetteHellma 100-100-40 is original German-made ultra-long path macro absorption cell, constructed from Suprasil® QS high-purity fused quartz glass, supplied with PTFE sealing lid. Featuring 100 mm maximum standard optical path, it delivers outstanding sensitivity for ultra-low concentration sample absorbance testing with UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometers.

Two precision-polished optical windows ensure excellent flatness, parallelism and low stray light, guaranteeing highly repeatable photometric data. Adopts thermal fusion glue-free bonding, eliminating contamination risk for high-purity sample analysis. Standard outer dimension compatible with Shimadzu, Hitachi, Thermo, Agilent, PerkinElmer and most mainstream lab spectrophotometers. The PTFE lid prevents sample evaporation and oxidation, ideal for long-time kinetic measurement and trace substance quantitative analysis.

Take our cuvette windows, for example, which boast outstanding quality and a flatness tolerance of more than 0.001 mm (1 μm). The parallelism of both window surfaces relative to one another is just as important. Our high-precision production guarantees that the frontal deformation of the wave of a cuvette window is less than 4 lambda, which works out at approximately 0.001 mm (1 μm) if lambda = 546 nm. The high level of flatness demonstrates that the cuvettes from Hellma Analytics are setting standards. Overall, an ideal foundation for conducting reliable, reproducible and exact measurements.
