Home Page - Technical Article - Maintenance and upkeep methods for liquid nitrogen tissue grinder
Daily maintenance after use (mandatory for each experiment)
1. Cleaning of grinding jars, mortars, and accessories
Clean up residual tissue and powder immediately after the experiment to avoid sample drying, adhesion, and cross contamination.
First, use a dust-free brush to remove residual powder, and then wipe and clean with pure water and 75% ethanol.
It is strictly prohibited to use a hard brush or metal shovel to scrape the grinding beads and the inner wall of the tank to prevent scratches and debris.
After cleaning, completely air dry/dry to ensure there is no moisture and prevent the risk of liquid nitrogen freezing, freezing, jamming, or explosion next time.
